We need your help to pay of the debt for this project! My name is Mark G. Hardy. I’ve created this website to provide you information about a community project I'm working on. Mr. Shanehan Westphal and I have teamed together to restore the home of my grandmother-in-law, Mrs. Jessie J. Donaldson. She is a 94 year old resident of Jackson, MS. and lives with two daughters, one of whom is a 55 year old mentally disabled adult. I recently joined the family through marriage to Mrs. Donaldson’s granddaughter, Vivian Lewis, almost three years ago. Since that time, I visited Mrs. Donaldson’s home only to discover that it was in total disrepair. Being very concerned, I talked with the extended family and we've joined together to help our mother restore her home. You may have seen a news report about this story on WLBT’s “3 On Your Side” report on Monday, October 25, 2010.
To that end, the family has established a house restoration fund for Mrs. Donaldson at Regions Bank. Along with assistance from family members, we are reaching out to the City of Jackson, MS., area churches, community organizations, and individuals like you in an attempt to raise additional resources. If you are interested, please view the contents of this site. As you can see in the pictures on this site, the work is nearly complete and thank God for ALL of you who have helped us get to this point in the project!
